We had a higher end model before this one that worked great until it had a "catastrophic failure" according to the warranty repair people.
This model is what the warranty allowed us to replace with and it just doesn't seem to do as good of a job cleaning. On a tech note, the smart features work for a few months and then quit. I have to disconnect from our wifi and reconnect and reset the features again.
Overall, this model is not great in our opinion, but it is better than hand washing.

We have had our Bosch dishwasher for about a year now, this is by far the best dishwasher we've ever had and we've had approximately three dishwashers. The ease and convenience of either starting the dishwasher on my phone or checking the dishwasher to see if it's done or to know how much time is left in the cycle is certainly a convenience just by looking on my phone. Simple things like maintenance just to clean.The filter is so easy to do I can't believe everyone doesn't do something like this type of system, also my phone let's me know when maintenance is needed. In conclusion this is the best dishwasher by far for convenience and ease of use and maintenance by far.

I have never been so unhappy with a purchase. Stopped working in less than a year and their service people are a joke. They show up and tell you to they can't fix it unless you remove it. Then you book a tech on the service website and they don't show up as it is a failure too.

I love this dishwasher and very happy with my purchase. It works great at cleaning the dishes, it's efficient and easy to use and set up. The app gives you reminders of what you need to do to keep the dishwasher in good shape.

compare to GE deshwasher (has been using mutiple type of GE ones for 25 years), BOSCH dishwasher is very very quiet! so impressed! one thing i wish the bottom rack's gap between wires are little more narrow.

I spent months reading descriptions, specs and reviews of various dishwasher brands and models until Ifinally chose this one. We've had it now for about 9 months, and I can honestly say we love and appreciate it more the longer we have it. BTW, never thought we'd get much use out of a third shelf, but we do. Put that third shelf under "Best Things I Never Knew I Needed!"

This dishwasher is a 300 series model is the lowest end of its many series. I paid less than $500 for it and love that it has a stainless steel interior instead of a plastic tub. It offers 3 tiers for dirty dishes and the top tier, which is for cutlery is removable if you wish to put taller stem glasses.

My KitchenAid Dishwasher water pump broke for the 2nd time in 4 years. I was considering buying a new pump again, but I figured it'd last only a few years again so I decided to dump KitchenAid. I hate washing dishes by hand so with little research, I bought this Bosch 300 series and luckily it was on sale. I hadn't even bothered to read up about all of its features because I was in such a rush to replace the old dishwasher. There are some really cool features.
I didn't even realize it has a built-in water softener but it's my favorite feature! My L.A. tap water is about 380ppm and I don't have a whole house water softener. I bought a bag of dishwasher salt, filled the container, and that's it. After 3 weeks of use, there are no hard water stains on my dishes or inside the dishwasher. It really works.
Another cool feature is that an indicator lights up on the panel when either the drying agent or the salt is low and needs to be refilled.
I think my KitchenAid was quieter, but this Bosch is still quiet and shouldn't disturb you.
The top rack can hold a lot of utensils.
I installed the Bosch app and it's actually pretty useful. It tells you how much longer till the cycle ends. Tells you if you're low on drying aid or salt. It allows you to enter your water hardness so it can decide how much water softening is needed. It also tells you the energy and water consumption of all of your cycles.
The only potential negative are the buttons on the dishwasher. They don't click when you press them; they're kind of squishy. I just hope they don't fail over time.
Oh, and I guess the most important thing. Do they clean and dry well? Yes. They clean very well. The dishes come out dry. There's a little leftover water here and there on a random plate or cup, but nothing to complain about.

When I bought my first house, the dishwasher that came with it was a Bosch. I never heard of the company before but the dishwasher was the best one I ever owned. When I needed to replace the one in my present home, I went back to Bosch dishwashers. They last longer work better and are a very efficient machine. I've owned LG and GE as well. Bosch to me is the best.

It definitely is a quiet machine (compared to my previous one which was 50+ years old). But it takes an enormous amount of time (2h 10m) to complete, and doesn't clean cutlery/silverware or dishes / bowls unless they are pre-scrubbed (despite what the manual insists). Worse, the drying cycle bakes dirt not removed into the kitchenware so that significant effort by hand is required to get the rock-hard waste off. The prong arrangement on the lower rack makes it very difficult to place large kitchenware like bowls, spatulas, steins, etc.

Best things: quiet, options, debris basket. Not so great racks: utensil rack is angled and limits space, option to purchase better drawer; dish rack partitions are too close together, bowls are difficult to arrange; gaps on bottom to big, dishes go through and hit ridge on door.

This dishwasher is quiet & efficient, but the bottom rack spacing for large items is too spaces-out. We can't place many items on it because they'll hang through the openings. Otherwise it's a great dishwasher.

This dishwasher has really been an upgrade from my whirlpool hunk of junk that died after 3 years. It's is fairly quiet, cleans well, and I love the WiFi feature that tells me when to add rinse aide and clean my filters.

The Bosch 300 Series is a very strong choice for most households, especially if you care about quiet operation, solid cleaning performance, and good build quality without paying ultra-premium prices. It strikes a good balance.
However, if you:
• rely heavily on washing lots of plastics and expect them bone-dry every time,
• want flagship rack hardware or drying features (auto-open door after cycle, "CrystalDry" style drying),
• demand ultra luxury or want the absolute best drying performance out of the box,
… then you might want to compare the next tier up or alternative brands.
So, yes - I'd recommend the Bosch 300 Series, with the caveat that you may need to accept the drying trade-off (or use rinse aid/external drying) and verify which exact model you get (some features differ). It's a solid pick for the price.

My new Bosch dishwasher is better than expected. I owned one previously and found it to be reliable, ultra quiet and efficient. The new one is beyond that. It's so quiet I have to look at the control panel to be sure it's running and the dishes come out sparkling clean! Love it!

When our dishwasher stopped working, we had an technician come look at it and they were kind/honest enough (first win) to say the cost of repair wasn't worth it. He recommended two brands, one of which was Bosch. We went and picked out this one that very weekend and it was delivered and installed the following week. Another win.
We cook and bake daily so the dishwasher will sometimes run twice within a 24-hour period. It's been two years (knocks wood) and I'm happy to report our Bosch is still splendid in every way. We do take good care of it with regular cleaning, but I've only seen one half-dissolved tablet so far (which I think happened because my poor loading), while was a weekly occurence with our old non-Bosch unit.
TL;DR: Great buy, awesome performance (love the remote delay function), extremely quiet, and just easy to use.

Quick install. everthing was supplied. very nice first impssion. Quality made by the looks of it runs verry quiet comapred to my old maytag.. I had to keep feeling it to see if it was running. But all said and done time will tell. Time always tells.

My dishes come out clean. The prongs are closer than I'm used to, but it's fine and it works. My only issue is that it has such a strong seal that it traps in all of the odors. So by the time I get it about half full (I live alone), it smells TERRIBLE.

Loved out previous Bosch that did the job for over 20 years. Love this one. Controls showing on front when closed is great. Quiet and pretty straightforward to use. Overall dries well though plastic can be challenge. We do wish the control panel would show indicator that cycle is complete after finishing as it simply doesn't display anything once done

Literally everyone we mentioned that we were getting a new dishwasher to said to "get a Bosch". We were worried about our choice after all we had heard because the first one they installed did not work right out of the box. Costco called, apologized, and immediately sent out a replacement. The new one works flawlessly, and we are impressed with the technology. Great that we can put plastics on the lower shelf, and the third upper shelf is very handy. Hope to be using for years to come.

We've had the BOSCH 300 Series Dishwasher (SHE53B75UC) for a little while now, and overall, we're really happy with it. It's a solid machine-quiet, efficient, and gets the dishes nice and clean. It also runs a bit quicker than we expected, which is a pleasant surprise.
That said, there are a few things we've noticed. The drying could definitely be better-some dishes, especially plastic ones, still come out a little damp. And we really miss the handle that our older Bosch had. It may seem small, but it was super convenient for hanging a kitchen towel, and we didn't realize how much we'd miss that simple feature.
The Wi-Fi and app integration work fine, but to be honest, we don't really use them much. It's a cool option to have, but not something we consider essential.
One minor annoyance is the front of the machine-it looks great, but it's very sensitive to fingerprints and smudges. If your hands are even slightly oily or wet, it shows, and we find ourselves wiping it down often just to keep it looking clean.
All in all, it's a great dishwasher that does its main job really well. A few small tweaks would make it perfect, but we're definitely satisfied with the purchase.

Works very well. Dishes are always clean and usually completely dry (except for silicon baby dishes). If you're considering buying a higher-end model for quiter running, don't bother. This model is very quiet already!

I always wanted a Bosch, so when my old dishwasher quit, I ordered one. Installation was fast, and the installer very good. I am 5 star happy with this dishwasher. It cleans beautifully and the quick wash cycle does too. Installer told me that he is never called to repair a Bosch!

solid dishwasher, hopefully it will last, cleans better than what it's replacing. relatively quiet and dries well but I'm surprised that I though the smart feature was a gimmick but i find it surprisingly usefull. the screen / status is also a plus with no guess work on if the cycle is complete or not.
