I purchased this freezer from Buddy's Appliance in Brenham, TX because we had a steer butchered and needed another freezer. It went out while still under warranty. I lost almost the entire steer when it went out. I called the company I purchased it from when the tech came out it had started working again. A few days later when it went out of warranty it went out again. Then it started working again. Now it has gone out for the 3rd time. All within a few months. Each time I have had to throw so much food away. I am fed up with this piece of crap. Can you do anything about this before it goes into a dumpster? So tired of loosing so much food each time! I can estimate that I have lost at least $2,000 if food due to it going out 3 times.

Terrible shelves

Shelving is awful. Shouldn't have to be concerned about putting food on shelves or having it fall off. Shelves do not seem to be wide enough to engage both lips at the same time, on which they're supposed to rest. $1k for a freezer where you have to be concerned about how you place food on and take it off the shelves for fear of having the shelving come loose and drop food. I even bought extra clips from the manufacturer for the rear of the shelving to see if that was the issue and it made no difference.

11 months after purchase of $1,100 freezer, it thaws out, won™™t maintain temperature and light blinks. Frigidaire™™s website surprisingly provides little info on how to invoke our warranty but sure wants to sell extended service agreements. We followed directions to call Electrolux, which refers us to a local appliance repairer. Greatly disappointed in the lack of longevity of this freezer and concerned about what happens if appliance company doesn™™t properly diagnose and repair the problem before the limited warranty expires in a few weeks.

I was so excited to get a new bigger frost-free freezer. I am disappointed in it. I bought extra shelving for it, so shelves weren't so far apart which is better. But the freezer builds up so many "frostie" particles on anything that I freeze. Sometimes when I take something out to thaw I scrap all the frost off it. So disappointing. My old freezer never did this.

Problems since day one...!

We were very hopeful ordering this freezer from Home Depot. We live rural and needed keep extra supplies, more than when you live in the city and can get to the grocery store in 5 or 10 minutes. We waited 2 months for the delivery. Then we started it to cool it and it took forever then, it started flashing and we figured, acording to the manual, that it will stop flashing when it reaches the right temperature. It has been a nightmare trying to keep the food at a safe temperature. The meats, the dough, vegetables, fish, chicken, bread, pastry, fruit etc., it has all been defrost at one point and we have to scramble to put them in small fridge freezer, on ice or borrow someone's freezer, at least 3 times since we got it a little over a year ago. When it starts flashing, I have to empty it and defrost the panel behind by unplugging and waiting for a few hours... This happened maybe 5 or six months after purchase. I can't get anyone to come and repair it while still under warranty. The company deals with 2 appliance repair shops in my area, and no one wants to come fix it. Then the holidays came and after the holidays my warraty ran out and I still can't get anybody over. Please don't buy this appliance because it has been a headache and a health hazard since day one, and the company, although they claim their priority is precisely to avoid food poisoning, it is all talk...I will never buy anything from this company again and I don't recommend their products

Unit Died just 10 Months in from purchase. What's Worse is Frigidaire's Customer Service, or Lack there Of. One full hour on Hold to Schedule an appointment, One week later the Tech comes out, takes a look, Orders Parts and Schedules a Return in Another Week! We are now 2+ week without our $1100.00 Freezer! The Morning of our Appointment, we get a Text message to confirm the Tech is coming. Five Minutes Later, we get Another Text telling us our Appointment has been Canceled & Rescheduled for Another Week!!!!!! No Explanation, No Confirmation that the New Date set even Works for Our Schedule!!! No way to reach an English Speaking (American in the States) for further help with this matter.

We owned a 20.7 cu ft Frigidaire freezer for over 15 years (8 moves) until it gave up. Just replaced it with the 20 cu ft FFUF2021AW and what a difference, love the door closing feature, easy to set up and being garage ready is a huge plus. From what I have seen Frigidaire makes the best upright freezers on the market. Affordable, quiet, easy to install and they last a long time.

I™™ve had this freezer for nearly 1 year and it handled the burden of maintaining a full cow worth of beef without issue. It also stored plenty of other meats - all in all about 800#s of meat. It has been stored indoor so I cannot attest to its ability to maintain temps in the garage but it is rated for it. All in all a great purchase that ensured my family remained fed for the year.

This new Freezer is comparable to what I had before except it is frost free. That is not necessarily an advantage to me but was all that was available. It seems smaller than the previous freezer even though it is the same cubic feet. I don't think the space in the new one is utilized as well. It appears to be a good appliance but it is too early to tell for sure.

After 30 days of purchasing my upright Frigidaire freezer, the food is kept frozen. However, the door doesn't want to close on its own, you have to manually close it. Not a big deal, but it is odd to me. I hope this freezer last 20 years as my previous freezer did (Imperial).

I bought 2 of these on the same day due to getting cattle processed. Both of these have done the same thing with thawing out completely and the light on the bottom blinks. I have lost thousands of dollars of meat and hundreds of pounds of it. I not only called ABC, but I also called Frigidaire to get nothing more than a run around with both places. My freezers were bought not even a year ago so all I can say is think twice before buying one and good luck if you decide to.

I purchased this freezer to replace a 20.0 cu.ft. one that was over 35 yrs old and dead. This freezer is a mammoth but boy does it do the trick. Frostless, great storage, lots of room in the door. Takes little time to start up and freeze. Love the sleek design. It's a lot taller than the old one but is just a great looking freezer!!

Right after we plugged in our new freezer the interior light was on. Within 2 hours the light was no longer working. I tried calling the company but was unable to receive any help with it. Otherwise the freezer is doing its job, freezes items sufficiently. Would be nice to get a new light bulb to see if that fixes the problem.
